Heating

Heat that works on the coldest night of the year.

Furnace repair, heat pump installation, and emergency heating service across Orange County. Same-day diagnostics.

About heating

Heating service covers gas furnaces, heat pumps, and hybrid systems. OC winters don't get extreme, but when a cold snap hits and your heat fails at 2am, you want a real OC tech on the line — not a national call center. We service every major furnace brand and are factory-trained on heat pump installs.

When to call us

Signs you need heating

If any of these sound like your situation, give us a call or text. Many of these are quick fixes if caught early.

  • Furnace runs but doesn't heat the house
  • Strange smells when heat kicks on
  • Pilot light won't stay lit (older gas systems)
  • Yellow flame instead of blue (carbon monoxide risk)
  • Heat pump iced over and not defrosting
  • Furnace short-cycling or running constantly
  • Heating bill jumped significantly

How it works

Our process, step by step

  1. Quick triage by phone

Before we roll a truck, we ask basic questions. If it's a tripped breaker or wrong thermostat setting, we'll save you a service fee.

  2. On-site diagnosis

We check the heat exchanger, ignition system, gas pressure, blower motor, and ductwork. CO testing on every gas furnace.

  3. Honest recommendation

If your system is 15+ years old and the repair is over $1,000, we'll tell you replacement is the better long-term call.

  4. Same-visit repair

Trucks stock common parts. If it's a special-order part, we get heat running with a temporary fix and schedule the permanent repair.

Common questions

FAQ

Should I switch from gas to a heat pump?
In OC's mild climate, heat pumps now beat gas furnaces on efficiency and qualify for big rebates. If your furnace is near end-of-life, the math usually favors a heat pump.
What's the most common winter call?
Dirty flame sensor. It builds up carbon and the furnace won't stay lit. We clean it, you save a few hundred bucks vs. replacing parts.
How fast can you get someone out at night?
Average winter night response is under 90 minutes inside our core OC service area.
